Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of https://hapsummit.com (the “Site“) and your purchase of tickets or attendance at any Homesteading & Prepping Summit event (the “Event“). By using the Site and/or purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Site, purchase a ticket, or attend.
1) Who we are
The Site and Event are operated by Iser Media LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our“).

2) Definitions
- “Attendee,” “you,” “your”: any person using the Site, purchasing tickets, attending the Event, and any minor under your supervision.
- “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”: Iser Media LLC d/b/a Homesteading & Prepping Summit, including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents, and-solely for purposes of the waivers/releases in these Terms-Event speakers, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, venue owners/operators, and affiliated entities.
- “Content”: information, materials, videos, audio, text, graphics, downloads, and other content on the Site or provided through the Event.
- “Ticket”: any paid or complimentary admission credential (including add-ons, VIP, workshops, etc.).
3) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use/attendance after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
4) Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 18 to purchase a Ticket unless a parent/guardian purchases on your behalf. Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times. You are responsible for minors in your care and for their compliance with these Terms.
5) Site and Content disclaimer (“AS IS”)
The Site and Content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Content is for informational/educational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or professional advice.
6) Privacy Policy
Your use of the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If there is a conflict, the Privacy Policy controls for privacy-related matters.
7) Accounts, registration, and communications
If accounts are offered, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
By registering or purchasing, you agree we may contact you regarding your order, Event logistics, schedule changes, access details, safety notices, and other administrative messages. Marketing messages (if any) will include an unsubscribe link.
8) Tickets, pricing, transfers, and refunds
8.1 Ticket terms
Tickets grant a revocable license to attend the Event subject to these Terms and applicable venue rules. Tickets may require ID and may be limited, non-resellable, or restricted by ticket type.
8.2 Pricing and fees
Prices may change at any time prior to purchase. Taxes and processing/transaction fees may apply.
8.3 Transfers
Unless prohibited for your ticket type, you may transfer your Ticket to another person by following the transfer process provided by the Company. The transferee must agree to these Terms and any posted Event rules.
8.4 Refund policy
All sales are final except where required by law or explicitly stated by us in writing.
- If we cancel the entire Event, we will refund the Ticket price minus non-refundable processing/transaction fees.
- No refunds for failure to attend, change of plans, travel issues, dissatisfaction, speaker/vendor cancellations, schedule changes, or partial Event disruptions.
- No refunds due to force majeure events (see Section 17), unless required by law. We may, at our discretion, offer ticket credit or transfer options.
9) Event changes
We may change Event dates, times, locations, programming, speakers, vendors, and format (including moving to virtual/hybrid). Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
10) Conduct and participation rules
You agree to behave respectfully and safely. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Reckless or unsafe behavior
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, stalking, or disruptive behavior
- Illegal activity, theft, or property damage
- Interfering with speakers, staff, vendors, or other attendees
- Violating venue rules or posted instructions
- Unauthorized video recording or livestreaming where restricted (see Section 14)
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Weapons: Allowed only as permitted by applicable law and venue rules. You are solely responsible for compliance.
Enforcement: We may refuse admission, revoke credentials, or remove you (and/or your party) without refund if you violate these Terms or create a safety risk.
11) Medical and accessibility
You are responsible for your own health and safety. If you need accommodations, contact us in advance at april@hapsummit.com (replace if different). We will make reasonable efforts where feasible.
12) Assumption of risk
You understand the Event may involve physical activity and inherent risks, including serious injury, illness, death, and property loss. Risks may include crowds, uneven terrain, weather, animals, equipment demonstrations, food/allergen exposure, and acts/omissions of other attendees or third parties. You voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks related to attending.
13) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the Site, Content, or Event-even if advised of the possibility.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, the Company’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid the Company for your Ticket (or $100 if no payment was made), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14) Release, waiver, and indemnification
14.1 Release and waiver
In consideration for being permitted to access the Site and/or attend the Event, you waive, release, and discharge the Company from any and all claims or liabilities arising out of or related to your attendance, participation, travel to/from the Event, and use of the Site, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, theft, or property loss, except to the extent caused by the Company’s gross negligence or willful misconduct where such waiver is prohibited by law.
14.2 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your acts/omissions, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of others’ rights.
15) Photography, audio, video, and media release
15.1 Company recording consent and release
By attending, you grant the Company the right to photograph, record, and capture your image/likeness/voice (and that of any minor in your care) at the Event. You grant the Company a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, and display such recordings in any media (including marketing, social media, websites, email, and educational/promotional materials), without compensation, unless prohibited by law. You release the Company from claims relating to such use.
15.2 Attendee recording rules (allowed photos + allowed audio)
- Photography by attendees is allowed in public/common areas and during sessions unless a speaker or posted notice states otherwise.
- Audio recording by attendees is allowed for personal use, unless a speaker or posted notice states otherwise.
- Video recording and livestreaming may be restricted or prohibited in certain areas or sessions; comply with all posted rules and staff instructions.
- You may not record in private areas (restrooms, designated private spaces) or record others in a way that violates privacy, harassment, or applicable law.
- You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to record or publish content involving other people.
16) Links and third-party services
The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or security practices. Use them at your own risk.
17) Force majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, relocation, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, power failure, labor disputes, venue closures, governmental actions, transportation disruptions, or public health emergencies.
18) Intellectual property
All Site and Event Content is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Content without prior written permission, except for personal, noncommercial use where explicitly allowed.
19) Internet logs and cookies
We may collect technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type, access times, referrers) and use cookies for functionality and analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.
20) Dispute resolution, governing law, and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Exclusive venue: State or federal courts located in St. Johns County, Florida, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.
You may have statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
21) Severability and no waiver
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Exhibitor / Vendor Terms (Addendum)
If you apply to exhibit/sell at the Event, you also agree to the vendor application and rules (“Vendor Rules”), which are incorporated by reference.
You agree to:
- Comply with Vendor Rules, venue rules, and applicable laws
- Maintain any insurance required by the Company or venue (if applicable)
- Be responsible for your booth, staff, equipment, products, and transactions
- Collect and remit any required sales taxes on your sales
- Accept that exhibitor fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing
- Allow the Company to remove items/booths that violate rules or standards
You release and hold harmless the Company and venue-related parties from claims arising from your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
