Host a Workshop at HAP Summit

HAP Summit is a 2-day, in-person event at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds on Saturday–Sunday, April 25–26, 2026.

If you’re passionate about homesteading, prepping, and self-reliance — and you’ve put your skills to work in the real world — we invite you to submit a hands-on workshop proposal.

We’re looking for workshop hosts who can:

  • Teach practical skills step-by-step
  • Share both what worked and what didn’t
  • Give attendees take-home knowledge they can immediately apply
  • Encourage audience participation, Q&A, and live demos

Workshops should be educational and skill-focused, not sales pitches. Our goal is to deliver helpful, actionable, real-world training that makes our attendees more capable and more prepared when they go home.

Ideal workshop themes include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Food production, preservation, and storage
  • Livestock care and small-scale farming
  • Off-grid systems (power, water, heat, waste)
  • Emergency preparedness, medical basics, and security
  • DIY projects that boost homestead resilience
  • Tools, techniques, and systems that save time and resources

If you can show people how to do it, not just talk about it, we want your workshop at HAP Summit.

Workshop Host Benefit

Speakers and workshop hosts who apply and are selected will receive one complimentary 10' x 10' exhibitor space.
