Lisa Preston

Primerica      Palatka, Fl

Lisa Preston brings a lifetime of self-reliance, education, and real-world experience to the topic of financial preparedness. Born in Alaska and raised in the remote timber town of Prospect, Oregon, Lisa grew up in a way of life defined by independence—where hunting, fishing, wood gathering, and living far from modern conveniences were simply normal.

Her professional background is as diverse as it is practical. Lisa has worked in forestry and wildland firefighting, owned and operated a trucking company, and spent many years as an educator. After relocating to Florida nearly two decades ago, she returned to teaching, where a pivotal realization shaped her current mission: one of the greatest gaps in modern education is financial literacy.

While teaching Civics, Lisa saw firsthand how the monetary system impacts nearly every aspect of life—family stability, business success, opportunity, and long-term resilience—yet is rarely taught in schools at any level. Recognizing that financial struggle is most often rooted in lack of knowledge, she left traditional education to focus on teaching people how money actually works.

Today, Lisa is dedicated to empowering individuals and families with the tools to assess income and expenses, make informed financial decisions, and put money to work for them—laying the groundwork for long-term independence and generational change.
