A University of Florida Master Beekeeper and current President of the Heartland Beekeepers Association, she has extensive experience in teaching others the fundamentals of beekeeping, from historical context to modern practices and its role in a homesteading lifestyle.
In addition to beekeeping, she lives an off-grid, self-sufficient lifestyle and raise pedigreed Tamuk rabbits for both meat production and breeding. Their work emphasizes sustainable food systems and approachable methods for individuals and families looking to increase their independence.
With a Master’s degree in Adult Education, she is a seasoned instructor who understands how to communicate complex topics in a clear, practical way. Her background also includes experience as a retired SCUBA instructor and MSF motorcycle instructor, reflecting a long-standing commitment to teaching, safety, and skill-building across a variety of disciplines.
